I have made two rod holders that are for ocean fishing off a pier thst are 6' tall that I strap to a pier rail. Works great. Simple and nothing special but what is weird no one sells pier rod holders. 😊

That magnet rod rack is a good idea for trucks to where you can keep your rods along the side of the inside of the bed leaving plenty of bed space for a kayak or what ever.
Could you maybe try just doing the job, and then giving a list of materials at the end? I find it tedious to hear all the thing we are going to need, then hear all the instructions talked through, only to watch you do the job again. Please just go ahead and do the job, filming each step. You could talk while your working because you are enjoyable to listen to. It is just really long waiting to hear the point. I just recently purchased a 20 HP Mercury 4 stroke for my 14 ft Tracker aluminum boat. I can't wait to try it out. But first I need to make a jack plate. How about a video making one. My Merc is a long shaft and my transom is 16". I'm thinking about a 5" rise will be needed.

Right on you have the best ideas. And you show great details. So I made butt end rod holders out of 2.5 inch pvc, threaded rod and some tie wire. Could stab them in the ground and keep the pole off the ground and at a good angle that you can pretty much adjust
Wondet about using pvc to make a clamp holder for your paddle on the side of my kayak. What are your thoughts? I'm sure there awesome.

I am planning to use the magnetic rod holder idea to make removeable rear corner markers for my boat trailer. I just got it and had trouble backing it up my as I couldn't see it until too late and had to try again until some help arrived. Now I have a solution to my need, Thank You.

They sell two racks like that at Harbor freight for like $10 the time and effort you have invested in that thing is like $50
