Toro is an awesome reel. Use it and you'll know what I mean. It compares to many high end reels.

Like how you say overseas products. All your expensive American sellers like Orvis and Sage are made overseas. I think the days of expensive gear is done. The profit the big boys are making is unbelievable
Cheap reel is OK for most of freshwater fishing apart from salmon or some tropical trophy species. The reel serves as line holder mostly anyway. I wouldnt care what kind of brake is there, for big trout I use palming anyway

I ordered a 6wt teal rod on ebay from them.. if youre okay with zero to no communication, a very long wait time, and possibly having to be refunded due to a lost package or damaged package, then order from maxcatch.. they have great products-at great prices.. all the rest is lacking though, unfortunately..but for the money theyre good..

What fishing applications would you choose the large arbor Toro over the Mid size Avid reel? For most Trout applications is a Avid fine? I'm a noob so I would assume the larger faster retrieve reel would be better suited for bass Pike or Musky but not sure.
