Alicia and I head offshore in search of Mahi Mahi, aka Dolphin Fish to Floridians. We didn’t try for live bait since this was an afternoon trip, we just headed straight out to around 400-500 feet in search of weed lines. We found a couple scattered sargassum patches and caught a short and a few keepers, and had more swimming around the boat but couldn’t get them to eat. I cook these up blackened style with Paul Prudhommes blackened seasoning, link below. It is the best I have found, and makes amazing fish tacos!
