Easy DIY Kayak Lumbar Seat Support Tutorial

Kayak seats are generally uncomfortable without lumbar support. I discuss an easy DIY kayak lumbar support idea that will improve your kayak experience. This seat mod is easy, comfortable and an upgrade to make your back comfortable while fishing. It serves as a custom cushion that is easier to make than a pad created from modifications to a stadium seat pad. Easy hacks are great mods! Give this a try!

Love your videos, I have the exact seat for my Jackson…the straps are fraying and ripping at both the front and the side of the seat…do you have any ideas on a fix? Appreciate you!

I've used the fat pool noodles cut to width of the seat and held in place with velcro.

Rocky here, yeah I got fanny packs (shows my age) . If you fish in salt water, the fanny pack zipper should be plastic. BTW enjoy your content, keep 'em coming.
