You bring back such sweet memories. I grew up on maynardNorthen Randolph County. The worst sunburn I ever got was.on th Strawberry River. Had to go to the doctor.

Absolutely beautiful footage on the river. I'm in Texas and have never seen cane grow like that before – I wouldn't want to be down in it though. Like Danny said, no telling about the snakes.

All I know is we have gators in most every body of water…so I won't be fish in, I liked fishing when we lived in Minnesota

Those are cane trees they got so big! I won't ask you what river yall were on cuz Danny might not want to say. I'm glad Danny put the turtle back. We have the St. Johns river that flows north from south Florida to Jacksonville where it flows into the Atlantic ocean. We have lots of brim, perch, catfish, bass, manatees, snakes, and gators. I swam in the middle of that river off a boat. My Dad and brother fished that river a lot. I just love your old house with the wrap around porch! I hope yall had a few porch swings! It's just right for raising kids. God Bless yall!
