A walkthrough through of mods and rigging on my first fishing kayak, a Primyl Titan, which I used throughout 2020. This walkthrough is from straight out of the water from a fishing trip. Plenty of DIY mods inspired by YouTube and ideas to setup a great basic fishing kayak. Mods include a Watersnake trolling motor setup with rudder steering, remote trolling motor control, DIY Li-ion battery, led lights, fishfinder, deck mat, railblaza mounts, DIY burley bomb and paddle keeper.
Some of the mods you can see that I don’t go into detail: PVC Keel guard, anchor trolley, seat riser, front well cutout, fishfinder visor.

Good work a kindred spirit make and modify everything as needed. 2 thumbs up thanks for sharing!
Mate, you're pretty handy with the mods, nice work.
I've just bought a Kayaks2fish Nextgen 11.5, purchased the motor, battery, anchor system etc but haven't started the setting up yet.
I really need to research what to buy for water tight battery box and running through placement of wires and set-up.
Then how to install a sounder, but I'll get there.
My head hurts thinking how much time you spent thinking of what to do to your kayak
Next level set up amazing kayak I have the same one it works a treat.
Great video mate how are u liking the setupa year on?
I just received, and mounted my watersnake on my kayak. Do you know where I can purchase another watersnake sticker? Unfortunatley it only came with one sticker. I would like to find one for the other side of my yak. Thank you for the video.
AWSOME setup with some great ideas and some "trick" electronics…cheers ~baden~
thank you for making this video. the day i got my kayak, I found this video. I have the same kayak, although rebranded for the US. This is a great set up!!
We have taken it out twice so far and love it enjoyable.fishing recommend it only takes 5 mins to inflate. Seats are comfortable, kayak handles well. We love it so far!!
Did you cut the front compartment off? How did you go with keeping the water off the yak? Found that the water do filled up at the back.
Love the lithium battery set up thats how u do it ! not sure why people keep buying lead acid.. they produce way less power , heavy, more expensive per effective wattage output and does not last long ..for its lifetime usage and it takes longer time to charge!
She is Beautiful!! Caught my attention because, I have a 120 pdl 33" wide. Same hull, deck, and tankwell design as your kayak. I run the Bixpy j2 motor, attached to my drop down blade rudder which is toe controlled. I have my spare Bixpy battery mounted behind my seat, and a 12V Cabela's battery, inside my battery box with my usb's/VM/12V plug. That runs my FF and bow light's. And I run my 48" led 360 light on the stern gear track. With me at 5ft 7" she moves around 5mph. Which is perfect speed getting to my spots, totally hands free. Beautiful shot in the morning with the fog, pure serenity out there. 🙏 🎣
