10 watts now that’s a waste. On a good day it would keep a battery charged. If you wasn’t using the battery. As the boats go . Keep them coming . I do injoy them . Great job

Now , that is awesome. This dude is genius and look how small his trolling motor is ..That must be the smallest trolling motor they make and look how that boat moves around in the water and he's a good size guy ..No doubts here ..Dude that is geniusly made and it looks factory 🏭 I wonder how it would go with a bigger trolling motor 🤔 that is awesome 👌..Thanks Man.. Now, if I can make a copy of your invention, probably not ? Lol

Get the older Minkotas, I ran a 55 on stern and reversed the head on a smaller 35 located at the bow. Ten foot Sundolphin cruised along with it. Used the small one for fishing more

You could fill the pipes with spray foam to help with flotation.

HOW MUCH it cost??? More than 300 USD in all????? So result : TO EXPENSIVE for DIY project, because I could buy profi fishing inflatable boat with 500W engine about 220-250 € 😀

I so want to do a trike/paddle boat and this one would be a perfect inner float support. 😆 Thanks for sharing it.

What weight will these boats hold??

Reply

a box of beers on the front would help balance out for the battery in the back. love this design, very sleek.

What is liquid your applying to floats is it polyurethane ???

Reply

Why didn't you use FULL BEER KEGS? What good is that?

If you would think about designing your own extruded plastic fitting or parts from chipped up coffee containers and such….that would add an interesting element to PVC designs.

You need to drill and install an air valve and pump air in the PVC tubes to about 18
to 20 PSI, That will help with buoyancy.

You could make your canopy/umbrella a hard one and put your solar panel on top to maximize the charging. There are also flexible solar panels you may be able to use.

I am not sure, but maybe use spray foam in side the PVC to help with buoyancy, you could also cut a pattern of the paddle on the top side of one of your floats about an inch down and hold it down with some heavy duty Velcro. If you slope the front of your floats it would help with resistance but you would also loose some buoyancy maybe. Just things off the top of my head.

Love the design!!!!!
