Nice job. I will actually use this method. I have tried the clothes rod concept but it was a fail. Simple, clean and removable.
This worked great in my Jeep Cherokee! Had all things in my tackle box π¦
What he doesnβt tell you is how much the back ends are gonna bounce lol
βBut the odds are, if you haul fishing rods in your vehicle, your the type of person that screws something into their carβ

I gotta disagree this isnt a good hack. The bungee will sag if u put a lot of rods on it and swing and bounce when u drive possiblye damaging the rods and the interior. You can just buy a car rod rack on amazon for 15$. It's2 straps with velcro and its perfect. I had your bungee idea in my car for years and my paint in my van is all scratched up from the rods bouncing around and rods have gotten damaged too. You want your rods secured with a material that doesn't stretch. Just my 2 cents.
Great video. I was able to drill a 1/4 inch hole in each hook in the back, slip a carabiner in it, and attach the twisting bungees that way. Thanks for the info.
Like all the best inventions it takes a genius to think of something simple. Brilliant! From darkest UK!
