how to make a mackerel rig – diy sea fishing rig

In this video i show you how to make a mackerel rig out of old washing line and things you should have in your fishing tackle box.
To save you a bit money on your terminal tackle.
My dad used to make these rigs back in the day when he went mackerel fishing and showed me how to make them.
You don’t just have to use green washing line you can use all different colours. The thin tubing is supposed to represent a small sand eel that the predator fish naturally feed on.
Its something to make on a rainy day that is quick easy and simpe and could save you a few quid.
