In this one we head down to catch a 4 man limit of red snapper down in Venice Louisiana fishing off of the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. On opening weekend the red snapper are all stacked up on the rigs, and we used cut mullet and live bait to smash our limit in less than a few hours. Offshore fishing is always a great time down there and its a nice change of pace from the inshore louisiana fishing. Red Snapper is a great fish to catch clean and cook as they fight hard and taste amazing.
