It can be a challenge to squeeze multiple threads or cords into ONE finding, whether it’s a bead, clamshell or end crimp. Sometimes no matter how much you poke at it, it just won’t fit! With our beading tips and techniques, success is guaranteed.
Options Include:
– Cutting the cord at an angle
– Stiffening the cords ends with a fabric stiffener like Fray Check
– Using a lighter to melt the cord end to a point
– Shaving the cord down with a sharp edge
– Poking it through with a knotting tweezer…
– And when those don’t work…try this trick to make your stringing life easier by using one piece of fishing line as a go-to needle!
