Great idea ! … , i made one when i bought the Hero 3 using an aluminum rod but might be time to change … you must be up in the White River area … down in southern Ontario we will be waiting a while still for safe ice …

I've tried this before setup worked great but water was too cloudy to see more than 2 feet. It would be great in some clear water though.
