On the 08.01.2022 we hit the ocean for a change on board Sanbonani which is a 22 foot center console Yeld Cat boat with 2 x 140 Four stroke Suzuki outboards 🇿🇦😎. Andrew and Gareth joined their Father, Uncle and Cousin for a deep sea fishing adventure🐟🎣🧐
We manged to find live bait which was harder than the norm. The other anglers did say it has been difficult this last month or so.
Headed north for the barges just before the Cape Vidal point. Pulled speed pros up. As soon as we arrived at the barges we notices birds diving and the fish boiling. We could not resist but throw a spoon or two 🎣. AND 💥 💥 💥 we were on. It was mayhem on the boat but super fun 😎😎. (The fish gafted in the video swallowed the Hooks, we gave the fish to the local community to feed thier families)
We then had to get serious due to the dad’s wanting to catch edible game fish, which consisted of drifting 🤮🤢. Motors off and letting the current pull us along with the live bait hooked up on the Cuda traces. 2 to 3 hours later we decided to call that off and go find the pockets of boiling fish. Unfortunately they were then not commiting.
All and all a awesome event full day with memories made as a family out fishing 🎣 😀 😊 😄 😎
