In this episode of TFBTV, @JamesReeves brings you an exclusive on the NEW Glock 47, coming to the civilian market in 2023. Originally introduced quietly by Glock in 2019, the Glock 47 was a contract-only gun for Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection agents. A full-size 9mm pistol with a 17 round capacity and the Glock MOS optics mounting system, the Glock 47 is similar to the Glock 17 MOS – almost identical, on paper. But the Glock 47 has a few tricks up its sleeve. Using a Glock 45 frame, the Glock 47 has the ability to also accept Glock 19 slides. Moreover, the Glock 47 slide is compatible with Glock 19 frames, meaning that the Glock 47 gives you unofficial access to the long-awaited factory Glock 19L “long slide.”

Glock needs to hire me in their engineering department. Hear me out.. I would design a slim line Glock with a grip length very close to a g19 (mabe a hair shorter), but the width of the grip would be designed in between the width of Glocks current slimline and standard doublstack size grips and of course the mags designed the same way. Which in theory should give us 13 rounds a mag if designed properly. And of course the slide width would be designed in between current slimline and double stack. Making a new concealed carry gun that would compete or dominate against the p365XL, hellcats ect. market.
Glock needs to make one that has a Glock 34 slide on a 26 frame just for James
I wish they would make a Gen 26 MOS that allowed you to swap slides with this and a 19. Gives it options for slides and frames.
I 'conceal' carry a G34. This is fantastic news. I prefer a longer barrel for accuracy. Plus my Man sized hands loved the G34. Glock does it again, pulls a lego and produces a new glock.

@TFB TV I'll start caring again when they actually listen and give me a G19 frame with a G34 slide. Until then Glock will stay imperfect and continue to not actually innovate
They going out of order? I've had my g48 for a year now. It's a 43 with a longer barrel. Basically a thin glock 19, but with the shield mags holds what a 19 does.
This is the most over complicated and frankly stupid idea. This proves how wasteful the government is, the fact they paid to have this designed, and built instead of using a standard off the shelf glock like almost every other leo agency. Ill stick with hk, people might say hk hates you, but glock is like apple. They think dumb people will buy anything with a higher number
Putting a 17 slide on a 19 frame makes zero sense. Especially if you carry appendix which most people are now. The 45 is Goldilocks IMO.
I wish they'd make the 17 frame compatible with the 19 side. Seen a Frankenstein glock 17/19 with a compensated barrel that had the comp tucked into the dust rail and it looked sick. But the frame had to be modified to fit the slide on it. Would much rather have the option without modding the frame
They put all the extra pieces in a box laying around shake it up and pour out the box and assemble it. New Glock
