The Hiwassee river coming through Reliance, Tennessee area is beautiful and clear with rocky bottom and lots of different fish in it. There is a good population of smallmouth that stay up towards the mountain part of the river but can be really hard to get to them.

It looks like you need to invest in a backpack duffle rod carrier, if you're gong to pack multiple rods. I have one that will hold up to 5 rods at a time and has plenty of storage for your gear as well.
That is no joke about being dangerous! Snake heaven up in that area plus like you said about navigating those rocks! Great video!
As a person who is limited by the ability to walk for long periods or on rough terrain, your videos really allow me to go to a different place in time. The adventures you take us to put a smile on my face and really allow me to get out of my depression. Keep up the great work, you just have no idea how much your videos can be helping someone. Did you ever think to put a split shoot up against your lure they’re are different sizes for different weights ; I know there are weighted jigs but maybe a split shot could adapt to your water conditions?
I love your videos. Great work. However, please consider removing specific location info. You have a LOT of followers and I've seen spots get burned out real bad from YouTube vids. I hope you consider being more vague about your spots.

the big ones will be tucked in under close to the bank that time of day and be out towards evening or if you find a deeper run you will find a big one…
Some decades back Brown's Guide to Georgia published a fine article on the Jack's River. There was a forest fire there the following year. Is the Fox's Cabin really gone?

Watch out for the ticks. They are BAD this year. I don't know about Tennessee, but here in MN., it's been really and unusually dry so they are going crazy.

Great stream you can’t beat smallmouth out of moving water. A wading staff is a worthwhile investment hate to see you out of commission sure do love these vids
