Lesson 1 – graphite is not at strong as metal? I guess lesson 2 is don’t buy a reel where parts are not available. Of course I do that all the time with vintage reels I purchase for fishing and my collection. It’s like you often say, “Buyer beware.” Interesting video Dennis! — Chris
I would personally drill through the case on that penn and make a new stud from brass that presses in from the outside.
That's only if the reel had sentimental value or something.
Make a gear or ditch the line guide but I have a question I’m looking for a couple reels for trolling mojos for bass this fall do you have anything maybe customers had you fix but never paid for
Parts Unavailability……. That's a Shimano trait. Daiwa has always had parts for me but that Saltiest is a pretty old design.
