Hey I just came back to watch this video after losing 3 plecos so from my community tank I had a blue phantom that passed after a week and I was bummed out I changed the water reconditioned the water and did tests and everything was more or less normal my ph is 6 which from some research said is ok and fish should acclimate too as long as it’s not too drastic from their preferred ph. I just got a bristle nose and golden nugget and the bristle nose died within hours and the golden nugget just this morning (found this morning) idk how they died so fast or what I could do. My tank has some dwarf gouramis neon tetra and Corydorah 30 gal. I feel I have some part to play but idk if maybe the fish store does too? I floated the bags and everything I’m thinking if I should do drip next time advice is appreciated! P.S Ik it’s not recommended but I’m tight on space and I add my fish right to the main tank and treat everything for bacteria and parasites when I get new fish Ik it causes unnecessary risks for my other fish.

You should be quarantining your saltwater fish. I’ve had ich take off in my system and infect all of my fish in 2 days. It will kill your fish if you’re not careful especially with tangs as they have very thin skin and scales and so they are more likely to contract the protozoan

Chromis are related to damsels, for sure. Basically they are more peaceful damsels. And by more peaceful, I mean their aggression is only towards each other, whereas Damsels will be aggressive with everything regardless of if it is another damsel or not. For the most part from what I have heard from others, Chromis will be really peaceful towards all other fish, but they will fight between each other until one of two outcomes is achieved: 1) One becomes the dominant fish and the others remain subordinate to them for all time, or 2) the more coommon outcome is they fight until only one remains. I think the 1st outcome only really successfully occurs in really large tanks with much larger shoals of Chromis (as in 10 to 20 or more), whereas every time I see that someone has 6 or 7 or less (which is what most people get), it always results in only one remaining. Which is a shame, as they are some pretty fish.

More changing up of fish just to keep getting views. This is not what fish keeping is about. Disappointing
