Great video! Lander is an amazing place. We always go up into the winds outside of town and it's a truly wild experience. The scenery and wildlife are truly unmatched plus the fishing is amazing for big cutthroat and golden trout.

Amazing little stream. Usually when I see a stream like that I forget about fishing and take my camera out to hike around the stream and take pictures. May be I should seek treatment to understand what’s wrong with me. 😜😜😜 thank you for producing that beautiful video.

That has to be one of the nicest looking browns I’ve ever seen with the spawning color. Nice job Mark, thanks for the inspiration!

I enjoy your videos. However, why don’t you make people work for this info a little harder, or try to keep it more of a secrete? I’m sure locals would appreciate this as the internet tends to eliminate any mystery and people come pouring in. I really do like your videos though.

Loving these Rocky MT Area videos! Is hiring a guide really D.I.Y.?

Doesn't anyone actually eat the fish they catch?

Could you guys stop posting these videos and blowing up these fishing spots.

Keep the fish in the water. You have an obligation to teach fisherman to keep em wet. There's no reason to keep these fish in your hand so long. Please.

Private land owners own the bottom of the river in WY – unlike Montana and Idaho. I’ve fished around here and while there is some public access it is very limited. I wouldn’t necessarily travel out of my way to fish here unless you’re seeking Goldens up in the mountains.

Lovely rivers and good way of fishing, a NET is the only thing missing on the first river 😉 helps not let the fish bash on the rocks. happy fishing and great fish!

Now that looked like a lot of fun, and catching the bigger ones up stream, totally worth the time walking further. Great info on what to use and how to fish these areas. I guess I am going to have to head North across the border and try it myself.

This week I’m fishing on a budget. I’m going on a DIY adventure. But, the first thing I’m going to do is spend $500 on a guide so he can show me where to go and what to use. Id say odds are pretty good that some private access came along with that guide. My in-laws live in in Lander, so I fish there often. The Pope Agie has good public access up Sinks, but other than that, there isn’t a whole lot of public access and people in Lander aren’t keen to you knocking on doors and allowing permission.

Really nice to see a DIY episode with Mark having so much fun. Most of us don't get too much lodge time, and sussing out new water on our own is so satisfying and fun.

Wyoming, is now on the bucket list. It's a shame I lived in Colorado Springs from 98-04, and never even bothered to fish out there.

Please do more like these. Videos where it’s just the host on their own, showing how they handle and approach rivers how most of us do. Thank you for the great video
