Hey there great review you did a good job describing the features of the reel but i have one small issue and that is the comment about ball bearings cause its just not true i can pack a reel full of 15 ball bearings and that doesnt mean its as good as say a stradic the important part with ball bearings is the placement and quality of them but besides that thanks for the review it is very informative
Good deal man! Just received my Cs5 3000 and for the initial impression is I’m pleased! Great packaging, shipped safe obviously. Just assembled- feels fantastic. Got a few swims and wacky I want to try. Can’t imagine this combo not being anything less than a steal!
Great review, but you missed a MAJOR point I'd like to contribute: customer service. I emailed them about a CS7 with a rough retrieve. Within hours, I was told to send it back immediately, and they put a replacement in the mail for me same day. No diy, no suggestions, just flat out replacement immediately. They said they wanted to investigate the return to see the cause and what they could improve on. This leads me to believe Cadence cares about it's quality control and the satisfaction of it's customers
It isn't really that great of a reel. Used mine once and now you can hear the bearings and gears inside. It is not as smooth as right out of the box now. I bought 2 of them, a cs5 and a cs4. they are both doing the same thing after one day of fishing.
