DIY Kayak Fishing – Perception Swifty – Filmed with a GoPro HERO – http://amzn.to/1UBLWtE
May 7th, 2015… I took off after work to bass fish a local Georgia pond before sun down. I only wanted to fish a few hours, so loading and rigging up a bigger kayak (like the Jackson Big Tuna) was something I wanted to avoid. So, I broke out my old Perception Swifty that I’ve outfitted for fishing! The Swifty is a small, light weight kayak. It’s easy to carry, easy to maneuver and easy to set up. It’s perfect for small ponds, lazy rivers, or short fishing trips. The Swifty was made to be a recreation, entry level kayak. It was affordable 12 years ago brand new, and these kayaks should be dirt cheap if purchased second hand. To outfit it for fishing, simple install products that allow you to store and organize your fishing gear; gear tracks, rod holders, footman loops, and velcro.
