I make my own anise mallows and they work better recipe is top secret !
They should be spot on for carp tench bream roach and Rudd in the UK.
The one from the store it falls off and it smells overpowered and the trout pick it off and diy dose not dry out in hot weather

Well I never tried to be my own fish bait either. I had always went to the store and bought it, I will say I'm not too much liking that glittery beat myself but sometimes it does work on certain days so, it's all good.
As long as I'm having a great time and catching fish right, right there all that matters. Tight lines
