Glad i foung this video. I'm in the design phase of building a pacific proa. Its so easy getting sucked into the "proper" way of doing things. Great video ЁЯСН
what a ripper little kayak !! you have to tell us the name of your cat ?
Great vlog. I am full of admiration for your successful design and build. One crucial thing you did not mention is the weight. Can one lift the boat onto a car top for transportation?
Excellent video! Of course the first float was the day before the event… See you next year ЁЯЩВ
Very very good video and if I werenтАЩt living in a block of flats 12 floors up IтАЩd have a go at thatЁЯСН
If you refine the design a bit and you add fibreglass this would be a really durable kayak.
Keeping yourself busy with fun added to the adventure . it's a good video but the kayak is a no no .
Michael Caine! …I loved you in the Dark Knight movies! Still building those high tech vehicles for Bruce Wayne, I see.
Seriously though, I enjoyed the video. Thanks for posting it.
Veery nice! And thank you for showing the measures… nearly no one else does. Greets from Germany!
Excellent build! I was sort of waiting to see you add gunwhales to the sides, but then you had to cut away some of the cockpit area to make room for paddling, so nice gunwhales would have just been in the way after all! xD
In future, you may find this glue preferable, if you haven't found it already.

It's stronger, fully waterproof, and less messy, and it expands to fill all the tiny gaps, so less liable to leaks.
Thanks for the inspiration. I wish you could have been filmed through the riffles to watch its handling. Safe paddling!
