I love this fishfinder enjoyable.fishing recommend Very easy to install. Fits perfect on my Nayive Ultimate 12. Love the clarity of the color screen.
I like this idea because it's cheap and it stands up higher so I don't have to bend over (bad back). The only issue would be on windy days. But on those days I usually won't be out on the ice anyway or I'll be in a shanty. Thanks
Thanks for this. I've been using an underwater camera for the first time this year and bucket trick is incomparably better than trying to spin the cord with fingers and having it swing wildly.
I run mine the same way. Smaller bucket and baseball size styro. Great method!
With that auger you don't need to scoop your holes. Push all the slush you can back into the hole push it all the way down with your auger and hit reverse and all the slush is gone.
I appreciate the hell out of you pal!
Also greetings from hastings!
Hint to all. Once you find your spot with the camera, start your jigging about 5 feet above the bottom to attract fish from a distance. Then work your way to a foot or two off bottom. Do this every time you drop your jig down. Advice from Tom Boley fishing.
You also have yourself a table as well lol. With the bucket over the hole it might also help for the ice not to freeze over as fast.
I mounted my eyoyo camera on an old camera tripod kicking around and I ran the cable under the tripod secure to a door hook with a spring in it. Everything eye level and I can turn the cable on the hook and it works great. I love sight fishing and it is a lot of fun. My kids are not bored ice fishing and they are more tuned in.
Same thing can be done with a plastic frisbee and will take up less space in the sled.
So far as a new subscriber I am very impressed. I love how you show us what your using and how it’s done. I would have considered the Aqua view but bought the marcum pursuit a couple weeks ago. I was looking for a camera to record some stuff with and yours looks great, looking forward to getting it. Darn that’s great video! I am kinda new to the sport. Live on a lake north of Duluth. Use to fish as a kid, I also had a love for anything I could race. Thankfully those days are behind and now trying to catch up( ah kinda of a twist on words) all this new electronic stuff is exciting! Thanks for teaching us how you do it! All ready said it a few times but your channel is great!! Take care, be safe.

If you have a couple of feet of snow on the ice and it stops the light from getting through, do cameras work well in low light?
Nice video, cool idea. I bought a molded plastic type that covers/sits over hole & has 2 sets of like cleats to hold camera cable that you spin to pan yet helps hold camera position as well. But my camera is a older aqua view with big camera/lens. But was only like $10.00-$15.00. Works great, sturdy, has lasted me like 6-10 years now & still like new. But with bigger camera probably wouldn't have worked,Although I would've tried if knew before buying mine.
Awesome! Very clever! Funny how useful 5 gal. Buckets prove to be. Happy 2020-21 early ice season! Great to see you out. I just confirmed That one of my small perch/panfish lakes is safe to fish, so I’ll be out tomorow playing with my new marcum lx5 (new to me).
Thats using the old noggin. Nice trick. Well even if it was someone else's idea. Hesrd that at the end
Just kind of wanted to get your input. In know some people say a camera scares some fish and others say it doesn’t. So what do you think?
