Everyone always wanting to blame fisherman for dead fish. Fish die like everything else. And it was old enough for that. They don't even need to he old. But hey, go ahead and blame people. If thats what you believe, how many fish have you killed. Doesn't matter how long you fight them you are still stressing them making them susceptible to delayed mortality. They weren't ment to be hooked and dragged out of the water. Im a fisherman too. I know the consequences of fishing for sport. For you to automatically assume that was the case and to act high and mighty, like you can do no wrong, is wrong in itself.
Jesus Christ loves you, stay close to him and give your worries and burdens to him. Everything will be okay with Jesus Christ.
I pretty much only fish for pike here in the UK and I quite often find them with a lure or deadbait rig down their throat, it’s infuriating seeing people throwing 80g lures on 12lb mono on a feeder rod 😂
No, It's all the idiots hualing ghem out off the water to bump board em and have five minutes worth of pictures to stress fish, I never lift my fish out if the water and don't use baits with more than two hooks. If you don't pull them out of water at all they will have high survival rate. lots of people are fishing for waleyes and catch muskie, not really their fualt. I blame the ego maniacs more than light tackle
I don’t usually fish for bigger species but can someone explain in depth what killed the fish so I can avoid? I fish for sport I don’t want to hurt these animals
asain man here: we have the "illiterate in english" locked down. find your own hack
I found a big dead perch last year, it smelled so bad my friend almost puked. It had started swelling because it had been rotting for so long.
Dont blame light line, blame lack of education, i could have landed that fish with 6 pound field and stream Walmart line, its how you work your rod and use your rod with your line thats why your rod bends like it does it give your line less stress 😂😂😂 how do city folks gain youtube channals yet folks that have fished all our life's no one wants to watch
Uuhhmm, can anyone explain what does "light tackle = dead musky" means? So small bait injured the fish's internal gill or what?
You’re absolutely right. If you’re gonna use light tackle, then keep the darned thing. Most time the fish ends up like that musky.
How does using the wrong gear cause delayed mortality, I've never heard it and don't understand
What do you mean light tackle will kill them? How? And what is "light tackle"?
Hello i am starting fishing and i have gone a couple of times with my cousin do you have any ideas on what would be a good starting rod under like 190-200?
Bro. It’s a spillway in the spring. It just as easily could have died launching itself against the concrete to spawn. But you aren’t wrong about matching the tackle to the fish.
I false hooked a 2lb rainbow trout and it was definitely alive, but when I went to unhook I noticed my hook had caught the line of the other hook that it still had in its mouth, when I let it go it turned over and died, which made no sense cuz it was alive and fine, my guess is it got stuck in the shallow plants from the line it was stuck too and starved idk..
My coworker did that with me in the vehicule when he purposely cut someone off and I was like dude the fuck 😂
Ya let’s make jokes about domestic abuse to be edgy… great content for a fishing channel
