How to make an easy DIY sponge filter that’s works well in your Betta fish tank. This is a good Betta fish filter because it is run on an air pump, so the water flow can easily be adjusted. You will need a jar, 1 inch tubing, bio media such as ceramic rings, or gravel will work, aquarium sponge, polyfil, airy tubing and an air stone. The items were bought at Amazon, Michaels and Petsmart. You can run several of these filters off one air pump making them very cost effective.
