In this video I show how to make sand spikes that are perfect for surf fishing and will last a very long time. They only cost about $5 each and only take about 5-10 minutes to make. They hold up to abuse and will reliably hold your rod while you wait for a fish to grab your bait while out fishing the surf. Let me know how you like these sand spikes if you make some.
Stuff You will need:
#6 1-1/4″ Long wood screws.
3/32 Drill bit
10 foot stick of 1-1/2″ Schedule 40 PVC .
