After not fishing for a longgg time…Last week I couldn’t take it anymore, so decided to go on a quick morning mission to look for Wolf Fish (Wabeen as we call them in Trinidad).
First step was to catch live bait…One cast with the net was all it took! Then I went to the spot and immediately spotted some monsters!!!
Things didn’t start off soo good as I missed quite a few fish, including what could have been by personal best wolfie…
While fishing, I met Uncle who was living on the side of the river bank and he said he would have liked a couple fish to eat! With a new mission in mind, I switched up tactics and finally started landing a few fish!
So while the fishing was realll fun, I was even more happy to provide some food for uncle in the form of fish!

Everytime I see those small fish, Sardines, I remember 'Fry Dry' from back in the glory days in Trinidad; eating Dahl, Rice, and 'Fry Dry' with plenty Hot Pepper๐ฅต and tasty, homemade Couchella ๐๐ถ๏ธ๐ถ๏ธ๐คค ๐

Just a few days ago I went fishing by a river by my grandfather land and I was surprised to catch some nice sized wolf fish on fresh Bonito cuts and some live bait
With out giving the location to the public, but I would like to catch a wolfish in that River, it seems to be very interesting.

you should check out the spot further down river along the bank thereโs a huge current area similar to this one. a lot more wolf fish correlate and nest around there. bigger ones to
