If it’s your time on the salmon river I would definitely recommend the town pool just because you can really get a feel for this fishing and what people are fishing with also another good spot on the river is the ball park hole but doubt go all the way to the Field go to the parking lot right before it and you will see a trail going down with a rope go down that trail it will bring you straight to the water and then go up river to your right it’s a fit of a walk but you will see a wooden stare case do not use it is private property but right across or a little bit up you will see an island and there is I nice pool there that I catch coho kings browns not to much steelhead tho but my dad cought a huge one there like 15 20 lbs a few years ago but that is another great spot

Hey Jag, I've been watching a lot of your fishing videos. very informative. Ive been fishing the salmon river for about 5 years now, and you are spot on with your advice on fishing it. i liked your video on your fishing setup. i think you should make a more updated video on what setup to use, what to look for in the river. what type of waders, what sunglasses. pretty much everything in depth. i know when im planning on heading up to pulaski , i always go online and do my research, and watch the latest videos to be more informed. thank you for your videos, and keep bringing us the great content.

there is this little "nunnery" that sits along the "little salmon river" that my Bro-in-law took me to 20(?) years ago. make a little donation and they allowed you on the property. some pretty good fishing and no one there.

We are headed out this weekend for the week and we have been watching your videos because honestly you have provided the most useful information for a couple of guys from Maine that have NO CLUE what we are doing!! So I thank you for that. Maybe we will see you out there! Again thank you

Great video! I've been to at least 3 different spots that you mentioned, but if I ever actually get to make it up there this year I'll have to try Pineville.

Awesome video, the first time I came up and drove through the town pool, I freaked out at the view. Just driving through town and seeing that stream run through was a moment I will never forget. I will be coming up to salmon fish from here in on out. Just an awesome atmosphere!!!!!!

Great aerial view from the salmon river. I love to fish the deeper holes and do some hiking and get away from the Gong Show. This river looks beautiful and brings in a lot of salmon in the fall. It also brings a lot of anglers from all over the US and Canada. Thanks for sharing these great spots and good luck this fall. I love the Black hole pool, great spot for salmon early season and also for steelhead to stay during the cold weather months.
