I have been a tornado anchor user for the past four ish years. Is it worth getting this excited about an anchor? Yes. It is lead free, the edges catch on all sorts of substrate and it truly does hold. The trick to the tornado anchor is throwing more rope than you’re used to so it can set up on its side and “bite”.
If you’re a new boat owner or looking to upgrade, it is absolutely worth it.
