The only problem is, is getting into any tight turns, you'll never be able to turn it that sharp.
the fact that a rare john deere sled had to be cut up for this project makes my stomach hurt… Other than that, great job, nice sled, good project. impressive build. But those John Deere sleds are rare and sought after.
Lots of torque for climbing and carrying and Easily transported…Looks like a PA motor lol…Good job
Did you have to add a keyway to the jackshaft for the final drive gear? Looks about a 12T gear? I am just beginning my conversion from an 89 ski doo mx with a lifan 6.5hp motor, a cvt clutch kit, I just haven't picked a drive gear yet
That is awesome. Great job. What is cool is you can move the track side to side on a hill.
Great! Would it be possible to ride with skis instead of the sled behind that thing?
hey bud can you tell me what the distance between the sled and the machine is ,as well as how long i should make the steering handle bars thanks again
Great video π thanks for showing the details of removing parts of the suspension and making it solid. I'm going to be building one or maybe two.
Beautiful machine and also useful ! Congratulations ! ! Cheers from Canada, Polar Bear country .
Nice! Nic put some old skis or a skid plate on the bottom of your tub. After that. Wax it π
I am going to build one. looking for donor snowmobile. What old snowmobile works best?
OMG'sh! ππ π I love fishing but that looks like too much fun! Not sure if I would get any fishing done with that cool toy around. ππ πππππ Now ya just need a long rope a snow sled and drag them behind across the frozen lake. πππ
Where did you get the throttle and brake cables from? I'm working on a similar project at the moment. Great build and thank you for sharing!!
@REDNIC79 nic what would you say the range is on the motor, for getting into the back lakes. im in winnipeg and just about to build on myself
I must have missed it, how much does that cool thing weigh? That would be cool to take coyote hunting too.
