Looks like a juvenile Sharp-shinned Hawk. They like to live in forests and wooded suburbs, and mostly prey on smaller birds.

Do you know of a fish rescue in Spokane WA? My sister got evicted and has a 50 gallon full of guppies and two pleco's

Hey reap I think that bird is actually a falcon

Hey store those aquariums upside down on there bases. That way it limits the possibility of filling with unwanted water.
Mine that I keep outside when not in use I’ve done this for years. Also use a large trash bag to create a dome over it to run rain off.
Big Rich has the level ground and space to do the same. Only problem I have had was sun baking the plastic trash bags and seam seals dry rotting. Easy repair but a pain. I’m out of the business nowadays without any plans to do it again

I know exactly what kind of hawk is.The kind that going to poop on your head if you stay too long under the tree lol.

Love the vids!! What if you used foil to cover those tanks outside when you get them? Go to Costco/Sams and get the large heavy duty rolls. I realize it wouldn't 100% effective, but may save some time in the long run.

I think it looked like the Ohio Koi eating Hawk.

I’m gonna need a Frontosa tank update as soon as humanly possible

Reply
January 31, 2023

Guy should flip over the tank so they don’t fill up with water bottoms up

Reply
January 31, 2023

Maybe used plastic tarps over the used tanks outside? So less likely to fill and less work for reaper

Reply
January 31, 2023

I also know someone who would like to have those new fish 😄

Reply
January 31, 2023

Reaper ur voice is great for the radio

Reply
January 31, 2023

Just cover the tanks with tarps etc save you guys tons of extra time draining the tanks all the time 😊

Reply
January 31, 2023

That's a leucistic Red-tailed Hawk. Beautiful. Look it up. I'm pretty sure.

Reply

The city bird assassin.

Reply
January 31, 2023

What's nice about that the ice has a way to expand so it really doesn't expand that much outwords because if it did those tanks would already been cracked

Reply
January 31, 2023

Should have got a clamp from inside the clamp that hose there and you could have went and did something else well that was draining

Reply
January 31, 2023

Looking for fish to eat lol. It might be a pairgen hawk hard to tell in black and white

Reply
January 31, 2023

Probably a goshawk

You're not making any advancement towards him you're not doing any abrupt moves he's not going to move now if you ran towards him he would you fly off but like if you turn walk then he wouldn't fly off you didn't do any aggressive moves see that's the thing with nature if you just sit there and watch it it'll stick around but it's when you start making an abrupt moves or advancing towards it that's when you know they get uncomfortable and I leave and his circle of you know safety may be different then another another they're just like fish y'all have a personality too

Hey Reaper, If you store the outside tanks upside down on their stands they can't collect water. I've done this for years in northern Illinois so I'm sure it will work for you guys too.

Lolz, love the music while draining the tank! Hope that the Fishy Family has a great finish to the week!! 🙂 💙💜💖
Much love from North Carolina!

Yes, those are glow fish. Frankenfish some call them because the color is genetically introduced in a lab, not by nature.

You have so many Fly River turtles. But most people can’t look after them properly. Public aquariums would love them. 😊

🎵Like A Good Neighbor
🎵Reaper Is There …🎶

In the winter time at least, it may be better to flip over all those tanks sitting outdoors so that snow and rain don't build up all the time. Reaper, you should take a few minutes to search out a couple YouTube videos on the safe way to start an aquarium siphon without using your own mouth.
