Headed up too the Pere Marquette to catch the annual King Salmon run. Was not disappointed! Caught an awesome King and had the “quick release” on a very nice brown trout as well. great vid. I was over at the PM by Baldwin last week for 4 days. Managed to catch one miraculously. They wouldn't go for anything for some reason. I would drift everything from nymphs to egg patterns and all they would do is swim away.

Which section of the river was this? I've been planning a trip this weekend to the PM to target trout and was hoping I'd make it before salmon season peaked. Are there sections less trafficked by the salmon/steelhead fishermen?
