A quick tip that I have learned is if you cut slits in the sides of the decal (especially for the scales) it helps when you apply. The decal isn't so stiff. Great video and very helpful!!

What color vinyl was used for the dark circles in the the eye and the fin? They don't appear to be black.
When you are laying the vinyl ove the curve, if you will snip your transfer tape on either side,it will help it lay flat and go onto the cup easier. 😊. Great cup
Howdy! I wish I had watched your video BEFORE I decided to put decals directly onto the paint. I was debating and your videos would have tipped the scales to put on the decals after a first coat of epoxy. I had gone to far and didn't want to redo the decals so I made it work. I did get a couple raised edges, but nothing a little sandpaper and a finish coat can't handle. Thanks!
Do you happen to know the exact color of the holographic cricut vinyl that you used for the eyes?

The paint didn’t give the scale effect in the middle of the cup when I tried it. I done it a couple of times and loosened the fish net but it still just looks like paint where the cup changes sizes. Any idea how I can correct this?

I haven't seen too many of these videos but so far this is my favorite.
You could always cut slits in between the scales as you go down To make it faster and easier when you’re laying it on the tumbler ❤️ Ty for sharing with us!!
After adding the 1 coat of epoxy after the paint is dried, did you sand it?
I have started using waterslide for the stripes and it works so much easier
